Callie's Quilt

Callie has been wanting to tie a quilt ever since she got to do ten ties on a quilt at Cub Scout Pack Meeting a few months ago. So we got her some flannel and on Civil Rights Day, we put it on in our play room and she tied and tied and it only took her that day and a couple of other days after school for a bit. It turned out so cute, and she loves sleeping with it.

Nativity Wood thing

This is the same as the wood blocks, only just on one big block. I stained the wood first, then mod podged the picture on.

Watch Bands

My sister-in-law, Lisa gave me this chunky bead watch for Christmas. Today I made some more bands for it, just not out of beads. These were fun and quick. I think I'll make more sometime. Don't look at my moley, freckly, old lady skin.

Fixed Pants

I bought these pants on clearance. I didn't like the "holey" look too much, since my skin and other unmentionables showed through. So I patched them up. I just used cotton to iron-on to the underside, and sewed large zig-zag things over the top. Of course I had to take out the seams so it could fit on the machine. Then I sewed them back up and serged with my mother-in-law's serger.

Nativity Blocks

Here's my nativity for this year. I usually make a new crafty nativity each year.
I cut out these pictures from scrapbook paper I got at Michael's and mod podged them onto the boards that Steve cut from a 2X4 for me.
